Biopolis Part I

Woo! I'm here in the 'workshop' of the biopolis centre. The initials sounds quite vulgar. IMCB. Haha.

Things here and so damn different from our school labs that i can hardly believe it. For example, the workshop with all the computers and tables and telephones are just located behind the labs. In other words, i could just touch a Zebrafish embryo 10 seconds ago and i could be typing here already! Now that's cool =P.

Had quite a few fun activities. The fish-mating process was kind of sian. Don't get the wrong idea. What i meant was that the male fish just goes around biting the bellies of the female fishes (at least that was what it looked like). Then the female fishes will released ovules and the male fishes would just have external fertilization.

Touched lots of mutant embryos!

Now the word 'mutant' i believe means to many people things like unnatural. You would probably be thinking things like turtles standing up and fighting with weapons (TMNT). But well, simply saying, its just organisms whom are genetically modified. So its not that chim after all.

Upon saying that, i have to admit that i don't really understand what all this is about. For example, I have only a rough idea of what is 'Smoothened' after 1 and a half day. Crap.
